Project Pulse Patch Notes #4: Building a Better Stripchat Together

This is the fourth and final patch of Project Pulse, and we want to thank you for being with us through the past two months: just check Patch Notes #1, #2, and #3. Your feedback has shaped every update.
Over this time, we've focused on improving the reliability of the platform. But this is a work in progress, and your feedback is needed as ever. We're also committed to making our communication and feedback loop easier and clearer.
With regular patch notes and ongoing conversation on Discord, we’ll be more transparent and more responsive to the issues that matter most to you. In October, we'll share with you news on the streaming server upgrade project and return to you with Project Pulse results.
Stay tuned! And let's see what we've improved in this round of fixes.

💬 Chat
We fixed an issue where Public chat would take you to older messages after switching tabs, like moving to the Viewers list or Private chat. Now, when you come back, the chat automatically scrolls to the newest lines so you can stay right in the middle of the live conversation.
In addition, we addressed a bug where the emoji list in chat wasn’t showing up where it should. On both Android and iOS, the menu now appears next to the emoji button, instead of floating somewhere else and covering parts of the screen.

🎥 Streaming
There was a problem where audio from a previous stream could sometimes still play when viewers opened your profile while you were offline. We took care of it, so now your profile only plays the content that’s meant to be there, like your shows or your saved videos.

💞 Privates
The “Best for privates” badge is now visible on your own profile, not just to viewers. This way, you can see the recognition you’ve earned, and your profile looks consistent whether you’re viewing it yourself or others are checking it out.

Other Updates
- Introduced pre-stream Face Verification for models who stream without showing their face, preventing interruptions during shows
- Fixed an issue where the date filter dropdown in Token History for Studios could overlap with the footer, making it partially hidden
- Fixed a bug where some users in your Viewers list could appear with a white nickname despite the white color being reserved exclusively for models
- Resolved an issue where the Upload Video window didn’t show the full Access dropdown
- Addressed a bug where the Start Show button could appear inactive in the Broadcast Center. For now, if this happens, the button will auto-enable within a few minutes. A permanent solution is on the way
- Fixed a rounding error in Token History where USD totals could be incorrect
- Fixed an issue where the Paying Users section didn’t show all tokens a user had sent
- Resolved an issue on iOS that caused the tips sound to play despite the phone being muted
- Resolved a problem where fully verified models could still be blocked by the verification window when trying to open the Broadcast Center

What Comes Next
That wraps up Project Pulse, but not our focus on you. We’ll keep working on improvements that make your streaming smoother, safer, and more rewarding. Soon, we’ll also share data and statistics from Project Pulse so you can see the full impact of what we accomplished together.
Your feedback has been at the center of this project, and it will continue to guide us. Have you found Project Pulse helpful? Have you noticed improvements on the site over the past two months? Come and tell us on Discord: we know we’re not done, and we need to hear your experiences to keep moving forward.
